Everything is bare. Take advantage of it and put in those new plant beds you were talking about doing last spring.
Limb Up
The leaves are gone, so go ahead and prune your bushes and limb up trees!
Keep it Clean
Pick up debris and leaves! Leaving it there can cause dead, brown spots once the weather warms up!
Stay OFF!
Keep the foot traffic to a minimum while the ground is still cold or frozen. It could damage the grass and leave it open to disease and other problems.
Dig it up
Do you see some weeds you never knew were there? Go ahead and dig them up while you can still see them. Get rid of them now and you'll have less to worry about in the spring.
Finish your hardscapes
Winter time is hardscaping season! Patios, walkways, fire pits, fireplaces! The projects are endless! Do them now and enjoy them later!
